The Bear's Bumblebee

Once upon a time, there was a polar bear. An ice floe broke off with her on it. It carried her far from home, to a land inhabited by strange, unfriendly creatures. They are furry and actually quite similar to the bear, if only they weren't all brown. But why do they have it in for the white traveller from the far north? This humorous book for younger children is about what it's like to be different from others and what can come from the fear of otherness.
