The Beatles: Revolver Pic Ltd

LP Record The Beatles' seventh album was released at the beginning of August 1966. After releasing Rubber Soul, the band embarked on their final UK concert tour and, following a long break, returned to Abbey Road to record for three months. Engineered by Geoff Emerick, the first recordings from these sessions were the singles 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain', which hinted at what was to come. The extended time in the studio paid off with greater creativity and experimentation, with both John and Paul in fine songwriting form. George also made his mark, with three of his compositions appearing on a Beatles album for the first time.
