The bond of the oath

Bree is alone. She has abandoned the mythmongers and her friends who do not understand the cost of her power. It is the only way to protect himself and his loved ones. But it has paid a terrible toll: made an unbreakable pact with the Shadow King, entrusting him with her future in exchange for training. Meanwhile, the Heirs face war - the Round Table is broken, they are without a leader and a kingmaker. Nick ends up imprisoned, mysterious kidnappings mount and Merlin dies. No matter how fast Bree runs from her destiny, the past always catches up with her.
