The Bride' s Father - Blu-ray

“I want to tell you a few words about weddings,“ the tired man announces between the spilled rice and the lying bottles, followed by kind and humorous insights into what it means to be the Bride' s father.
Spencer Tracy excels as the father of the bride, played by Elizabeth Taylor in a classic film by director Vincent Minelli. Taylor enjoys a spectacular show of herself - and her reflection in three mirrors when she first appears in her wedding dress. In his role, Tracy captured the nervousness and joy of the approaching D-Day, as every loving father knows them. He also earned the fourth of his nine Academy Award® nominations for the best actor, two of which he transformed. * The entire film in the Best Film and Best Screenplay categories was also nominated. The bride is coming, her father' s money is disappearing. and everyone is moved. Have fun!
