The case of the lost dog

A mysterious woman, found injured on the road, dies soon after being transported to the hospital. The surgeon on duty, Michal Kameník, was no longer able to help her. The woman had no documents with her, only dog treats in her pocket and dog hair on her clothes. After several days, when no one misses the dead woman, forest workers bring a dog to the shelter for animals in need, whose fur matches samples from the deceased' s clothing. Inspector Kamila Vernerová takes over the investigation, and soon manages to discover the identity of the dog' s owner. It was about a wealthy woman, for whose murder there are now more than one suspect and more than one motive.
