The case of the old book lover

The return of an old archivist to his native village after fifty years does not end with a silent farewell to an old friend. Instead, an unexpected case opens up: The mysterious death of a lover of rare prints, the legacy of a stunning library and the danger lurking in every shadow. Miroslav Macek's latest novel is a masterful combination of intelligent detective story and melancholic look back at life. It's an elegant story with the scent of parchment, in which a passion for books becomes fatal.
