The Clockmaker's Apprentice - DVD

Three fate fairies stand over newborn Urban's cradle. Two good spirits of fate speak of wealth and love, while the evil fairy speaks of poverty and endless suffering. Whose destiny will be stronger?

Urban soon becomes an orphan and is taken in by a greedy master watchmaker as an apprentice. When Urban comes of age, he and the watchmaker's daughter, Laura, fall in love and a wedding is on the cards.
Therefore, the master sends his apprentice out into the world with the task of finding a mythical watch that can warn of death. No one knows if the watch even exists, but if Urban fails to bring it back, Laura will never become his wife. So, the watchmaker's apprentice sets off on a long journey full of obstacles and tasks that he must overcome with bravery, watchmaking skill, and a kind heart. His love for his beloved Laura drives him forward, while his three fate fairies follow close behind – two helping and one hindering.
