The Curse of the Marcomannic Queen

The discovery of the ancient tomb of the Marcomannic Queen Fritigil has set off a wave of mysterious events in the town of Devil's Mine. The people involved in finding her are dying in a really strange way. Is their deaths due to a powerful curse that is said to protect the tomb, or did someone take advantage of it? This is investigated by two young policewomen Regina and Slávka and an aspiring journalist Fred, who specializes in criminal cases. They search an old rectory with a large catacomb complex and a local museum that focuses on folk magic. Are they to believe, for example, that one victim was bitten by a sixteen-hundred-year-old wolf, or even a werewolf? However, not only the case, but also the relationships of the trio of heroes are somewhat convoluted. It turns out that the past cannot simply be put behind us.
