The Dark Hideout
Shot from the past: Konráð' s search for an ancient crime
After her husband' s death, an old woman named Halla finds a gun in a garage in the middle of Reykjavík, which she takes to the police. When retired Commissioner Konráð hears about this, he remembers that his father owned exactly the same weapon. Moreover, his colleague from the criminal police uses ballistics expertise to discover that this weapon was the one that fired the fatal shot in a case that was never solved. That' s when a man named Garðar was shot dead for no apparent reason. Konráð therefore embarks on a private investigation in an attempt to find out what his father had to do with this crime. One of the clues leads to Gustaf, a doctor serving a sentence for child abuse. Besides, many years ago, Gústaf and Konráð' s paths crossed.
