The Dave Brubeck Quartet: At Carnegie Hall LTD

LP Record Many critics call this concert from February 1963 Dave Brubeck's best live performance. But who can really say? Apart from Brubeck himself, no one has seen and heard all 12000 concerts he modestly estimates he has played. A dozen of the titles had been released on studio LPs before, but not all listeners would have been familiar with the records. In the short transitions between tracks, Brubeck briefly promotes the respective LP, but in such a whimsical way that you can't be mad at him.
