The Demon’s Hole – FM

From the world of the Grim Saviour

I used to be a teacher. Once. I shot one of my students with a machine gun and then, just to be sure, chopped him to pieces. I have no regrets; the world has changed, and I have changed with it. The age of humans is over, and we are fighting for our place in the sun against creatures from ancient myths and, worse still, against those for whom no names exist in human languages. There are many dangers, and I fear only one thing: 'He who fights with monsters must be careful not to become a monster himself.'
