The Fast and the Furious - Blu-ray

A perfectly tuned model. Luxurious equipment, a shiny hood and underneath proven components that give it the hallmark of excellence. That's how a fan of fast bikes would describe the fourth installment of the famous action series, whose title this time is modified into Fast and Furious. Only the name of the director Justin Lin and the main star Vin Diesel, who prepared the ground for his return in Tokyo Ride with a cameo role, are connected with the previous part, which took place in Tokyo, in the environment of the skid school.
We find ourselves in the Dominican Republic, where Torrett's group is planning to quickly and furiously steal "a few liters" of gasoline from a moving convoy. A spectacular action sequence only anticipates the pace Justin Lin will dictate for the rest of the film. After a sharp cut, we find ourselves in Los Angeles, where we encounter the second "lost son". Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker, who appeared in the first and second episodes) remained faithful to the police badge. He is in the process of trying to uncover a drug cartel whose members are smuggling drugs into the United States across the Mexican border in dangerous joyrides through underground tunnels. O'Conner, the master of the wheel, gets official permission from his superiors to brush up on his driving skills and infiltrate the gang as one of the drivers. Dominic Toretto has the same intention, but with a much more personal goal that is not worth revealing. And so the two meet at the start of an illegal race, the winners of which gain the dubious right to become members of the gang and work for them as hired drivers. Once again, engines will roar, tyres will tear up the asphalt and a few litres of blood will flow. This ride is definitely not for teacups.
