The Girl Behind the Interpretation - DVD

A lonely, poor girl named Inka (H. Vítová) finds herself in a difficult situation. Her relationship with the shallow actor Viktor (R. Schránil) has left her pregnant. After an argument with her aunt (A. Nedošinská), for whom she works in an artificial flower shop, the pregnant girl ends up without a job or a home. The selfish Viktor, completely under the thumb of his formidable mother – a writer of girls' romance novels – leaves for a film shoot without offering Inka any help. In her desperation, she accepts a job as a live mannequin in a shop window. However, when the police intervene after a commotion outside the department store, she loses this livelihood as well.
