The main character, Lexa, is trying to kick his alcohol addiction. A college dropout, making a living as a stoker, voluntarily submits to treatment. In the treatment room, he listens to many problems of other patients. They discover the ability to write and draw lessons from their stories.
The novel by the doctor Ladislav Pecháček was also successfully translated to the screen starring Milan Kňázek.
