The Gospel of Philip

From the time of the Gospel of Philip, in which we read that "the Kingdom of the Father is already extended on earth, but men do not know it," to the world of Sufi Islam and other mystical movements of our time, spiritually oriented people have been searching for a hidden God behind the superficial appearances.
The author of this second-century gospel is also fascinated by what is hidden, and in the text he provides keys to decipher the types and images of the apparent so that the truth is revealed to man. The translation of the Gospel itself is accompanied by an insightful commentary.
