The Grim Reaper

The first part of a gripping series from Neal Shusterman, author of the bestselling No Chance. In the world of the future, mankind has triumphed over disease, aging, and ultimately death. No one is dying and the Earth is threatened with overpopulation. So the only ones who can end a life are the "reapers". Two young people, Citra and Rowan, are chosen to become apprentices to the craft - a role neither of them desires. They have to master the "art" of taking life, keeping in mind that if they fail, they may lose their own life. Okolnosti je postaví proti sobě a brzy je jasné, že pokud jeden z nich vyhraje, druhý musí zemřít… Za dokonalý svět je třeba zaplatit vysokou cenu.
