The Joshua Programme

Max Rhode, a not very successful writer, and his wife Kim, a pilot by profession, are raising their stepdaughter Jola. Max is an upstanding, law-abiding citizen and, unlike his brother Cosmo, who has repeatedly tried to rid himself of his paedophilic tendencies through therapy, he has never been guilty of anything in his life. In a few days, however, he is about to commit one of the most terrible crimes of which man is capable. But he himself doesn't know anything yet. As opposed to those who want to stop it before it's too late. The Joshua programme is focused on crime prevention. Although it bears the name of an Old Testament prophet, it is not a human being, but a program that works like artificial intelligence and tries to prevent in advance crimes that are likely to happen soon. However, its conclusions may not always be correct and fair, and innocent people may pay the price.
