The Jungle Book

The story of Mowgli, who is raised by a pack of wolves

The famous story of the man-cub Mowgli begins when, as a small toddler, he escapes from the clutches of the man-eating tiger Shere Khan. He is rescued by a family of wolves and is later accepted as a member of the wolf pack. As Mowgli grows up, his animal friends, particularly the brave black panther Bagheera, the wise bear Baloo, and the cunning python Kaa, teach him the law of the jungle. However, the tiger Shere Khan is constantly lurking nearby, determined to hunt the boy down. One day, the roles are reversed and the hunter becomes the hunted. The boy eventually lures his age-old enemy into a trap with a clever plan and kills him. Mowgli also gradually finds his way to the world of men. Will they accept him back into their fold?
