The Knight and the Moth
One for My Enemy: Six Between Faith, Love, and Disappearing Oracles
Six dreams of a day when she won't have to dream at all. Along with five other girls chosen from the orphanages in the kingdom of Traum by the abbess of Aisling Cathedral, she is set to spend ten years of service in the cathedral on the rock. Within the cathedral is a spring from which the girls, now revered by all as Oracles, read the omens of the Omen.
As the end of service approaches for Six and her Oracle sisters, the young king of Traum arrives at the cathedral with his company of knights, which includes the brash, heretical, and dangerously attractive knight, Rodrick. He doesn't believe a word of the omens, and the sparks between him and Six are undeniable.
One night, the Oracles begin to disappear one by one, leaving Six with no choice but to seek Rory's help and subsequently set out with him, the king of Traum, and his company of knights to save her fellow Oracles.
