The Last Stand - Blu-ray

Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott's provocative drama, in which Jodie Comer "leaves her mark" (Owen Gleiberman, Variety), was based on actual events in 14th-century France. It centers on a woman's (Jodie Comer) scandalous accusation that she was brutally attacked by Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver), a friend of her husband Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon). Now, to prove his wife's claim, de Carrouges must fight Le Gris to the death. The ensuing court battle will place the fate of all three in the hands of God. Le Gris' scheming ally, the Count d'Alençon, was played by Ben Affleck.
