The law of karma

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Why do we have so little faith in karma? Because it doesn't work instantly. But what if the consequences of our actions and thoughts appeared immediately?
One morning, people wake up to find that the effects of karma have accelerated significantly. Now, any good deed is rewarded within minutes, for example, with an unexpected windfall, while cheating and fraud quickly bring about disaster. Some people understand more and more, while others become hardened. A previously unknown Buddhist monk, Lama Tashi, becomes a sought-after guest on television shows and is sought out for his wise advice. Those who react in time to the change in karma are rewarded. Spite doesn't pay.
