The Little Deal Competition 1937

The automobile and motorcycle competition, the Little Agreement, was the largest motoring event organized in interwar Czechoslovakia and its friendly countries.

The first ever book publication dedicated to this motorsport competition, which took place in September 1937 on the route Prague-Bratislava-Kosice-Užhorod-Kluj-Bukurest-Belehrad, describes the preparations and course of this unique event and presents the previously unpublished start list and complete results of the competition. 73 cars and 58 motorcycles started from Prague, 9 of which had sidecars, 63 cars, 40 solo motorcycles and 3 sidecars were classified at the finish in Belgrade.

It is not without interest that the winner of this over 2400 km long and week-long competition was determined only by the final skill ride at the military training ground on the outskirts of Belgrade.

The compelling story is illustrated by 170 period photographs, many of which are published for the first time.
