As an irresistible playboy of the city pools, Maximo (Eugenio Derbez) had only one goal – to snag a rich older lady, become her kept man, and lead the sweet life. It worked perfectly. But every gold mine eventually runs dry.
His own best-before date has just relegated Maximo to the category of lazy veterans when his very old wife takes up with a very young car salesman and kicks the cheated Maximo out onto the street. He moves from his golden cage into his sister's ordinary flat and finds himself in a world of people who work, shop, cook for themselves, and do other unimaginable things. But that's no way to live.
Luckily, there are children, and they have school friends, and they, in turn, have a rich old grandmother. Perhaps the world can be fair again, and the next battle for a comfortable life can begin.
Will Maximo manage to dust off his faded skills as a seducer and restore the glory of his yellow swimming trunks? Will he pass on the secrets of a lover to his young nephew?
