The magical stationery shop in Ginza
Sometimes all it takes is a pen and a blank page to rediscover yourself
In a side alley in Tokyo's Ginza district stands an old-fashioned stationery shop that seems to resist the passage of time. Behind its doors, shelves of fine paper, fountain pens, and inks await, along with an owner who can sense what others cannot name. A hesitant young man, an elegant hostess, a talented archer, an ageing entrepreneur, and a man who worked his way up from the streets to become a sushi master all find their way to the shop. Each carries their own doubts, sorrows, and unfulfilled dreams. And each finds more than just paper and ink – they find the courage to write their own story.
