Ten short stories about real crimes investigated by top Czechoslovak criminologists The popular "true crime" genre focuses on real criminal cases and describes police investigations based on the stories of real detectives. Thrilling and readable texts by writer and reporter I. M. Jedličky has long been one of the best known works of this literary style in this country. The stories included in this audiobook take the listener back to 1980-1987 and deal with shocking crimes that took place in various parts of the country. These were well-known cases in their time. This is evidenced by the fact that the circumstances of the two cases also inspired the creators of the series Little Big City Gutters. The story "Salvator and the Fiery Death" deals with the mysterious disappearance of an elderly man and his personal car (in the series it is the episode "The Head of the Party Shop") and the story "The Red-Hooded Gunman" tells about the search for an extremely brazen perpetrator of several dangerous robberies in Prague and its surroundings (the episode called "The Man with the Stocking").
