If they don't reveal the mystery hidden behind the curtain, if they don't change the angle, the mystery will never be solved
Some of the dark sides of the new democratic regime - drugs and prostitution - did not take long to manifest themselves shortly after the revolution. The homicide guys have dealt with them routinely before, but in a less drastic form. They were not lucky today, the killer did, he didn't spare them either, nor did he finish her - a young street prostitute, slashed and arranged her corpse so as if it were lying exposed on the mayors.
But was she really undercut? Did he really put it up to leave them a message? Is he playing with them?
Detectives have no idea yet whether they are reading the clues at the crime scene correctly, whether they are missing the most important pieces of the mosaic. They don't have much time, especially when an old friend - a music composer - crosses their path right at the beginning of the investigation. He commits suicide. Two cases in one day, connected by a strange thread, unusual clues. They don't know yet if they missed something important. Is everything as they see it with their own eyes, or are both seemingly unrelated cases shrouded in a mysterious veil?
