The Mystery of Cloomber

General Heatherstone, a former member of the Indian Army, has moved to Cloomber Hall. However, the general has been acting strangely and is paranoid most of the time. His fears are apparently rooted in events from his past during the First Afghan War. The situation escalates when three priests from Kurrachee arrive, demanding to see him. What will become of the general? Will he find the courage to confront his past, or will he try to flee? What is the true source of his terror? What could have been so terrible that it still causes him paranoid outbursts forty years later?
