The other

Two young women on the cusp of adulthood. What to do with life? What about relationships? And what if being young isn't the joy everyone around them claims it is?
Both are about to graduate from university, but they couldn't be more different. One believes in God, the other stopped believing long ago. One plans for the future, the other is just trying to survive the present. One wants love, the other does too, really. Over the course of a single year, life forces them to face intense situations, but they each approach them differently. Alice ends up in the arms of a university philosophy lecturer, while Zina ends up in a strip club. The Second is a novella about perspective and irreversible decisions. The key to unravelling Alice and Zina's story is the everyday, which changes us more than anything else.
