The Pogues: The BBC Sessions 1984-1986 - CD

The BBC Session 1984–1986 is a collection of songs that the British folk-punk band The Pogues recorded in the BBC's London studios between those years. Compared to the version released on vinyl for Record Store Day, this CD version is richer by seven tracks.

The Pogues became famous at the turn of the eighties and nineties. They played a combination of punk and Celtic music, and their live performances particularly contributed to their popularity. The leading figure of the group, who were also well-known in our parts, was singer Shane MacGowan.
