Further investigation of Oldrich of Chlum
During his journey through Moravia, Squire Ota meets his distant cousin Milada from Zástřizl. She is desperate and begs him for help. She lives in Krakovec, near Prostějov, where several strange events have happened recently, culminating in the murder of her husband. Worst of all, they suspect her of his death.
Squire Ota turns to his master, but he has neither the desire nor the authority to investigate. In addition, he must attend to another crime that has harmed the King of Bohemia. But then an attempt is made to kidnap Milada. This will convince Oldrich of Chlum that this is no ordinary crime. Together they begin to unravel an incredible story whose threads run deep into the past.
