The ripple of game

Vojtěch Vacek is a storyteller of poetic stories who works with language in a clear, yet exploratory and innovative way. He often shifts epic elements into a· fantastic forms: the surreal mixes with the real in a unique amalgam. He transcends the boundaries of poetic narrative and places it in unexpected, often imaginatively sound positions. However, we look forward to these surprises with gusto, because the author' s poems are evocative and the reader is literally immersed in them. It is tempting to enter this poetry and be swept away by it: intoxicating, full of aromas and colours, but nevertheless unique – both fragile and strong. Balancing on this edge is one of the adventures of the author' s poetics.
