The Rolling Stones: Exile on Main St

LP Record Product information There's a lot of talk about the cluttered mix and low production values of Exile On Main St., but the essence of the album is its tight focus on the basic components of blues rock 'n' roll songs and The Stones' style. How they were transformed into a record is one thing. But how the band wrote and played them is another, and as a collection of rock-country-blues songs, Exile is a masterpiece. There are very few moments on the album to find fault with: it's a massively powerful, almost devastating experience. It's also one of the most talked-about.
