The Seven Lovers - Season 2 (2DVD) - DVD

A perfect life is a perfect lie!
The second series of the HBO drama about murder and suffering, the societal myth of perfection, and the contradictions hidden behind the idealised facades of marriage, sex, parenting, and friendship.

At first glance, nothing has changed in the tranquil seaside town of Monterey, California. The mothers are still endlessly loving, the fathers supportive, the children adorable, and the houses just as magnificent. But after the events at the primary school fundraiser, nothing is the same. As the town recovers from the shock, the members of the 'Monterey Five' – Madeline, Celeste, Jane, Renata, and Bonnie – join forces to piece their shattered lives back together.
The new series explores the malignancy of lies, the resilience of friendships, the fragility of marriage, and, of course, the cruel toll of parenting. Relationships will fray, loyalties will erode, and emotional and physical wounds will emerge.
