The sixties!
The atmosphere and phenomena of the 60s in a memoir full of period photographs
For the author, the sixties are what the nineties are to the millennial generation, but without mobile phones, digital cameras, the internet, computers, an endless number of television channels, and also without McDonald's! But they did have Tuzex vouchers, Pioneer scarves, Favorit bicycles, the Škoda 1000 MB, holidays in Warnemünde or at Lake Balaton, the Rapid Arrows and Chief Winnetou with his white brother Old Shatterhand, and also open sandwiches and Russian eggs. Remembering the “sixties” are, among others, Milan Knížák, Ivan Klíma, Jan Kodeš, Marta Kubišová, Jitka Asterová, Roman Skamene, and Helena Třeštíková. But also Bohouš the scout, the author's mother, and the head chef of the school canteen… The author's beautiful and mysterious femme fatale then serves as a co-guide to the events.
