From the historical cycle Knights of Vřesov
The year 1316 was written. The struggle for power in Bohemia continued and even the imprisonment of Henry of Lipá at Týřov did not solve the situation. The balance of power is still shifting. Here the royal party is stronger, here the party of Henry of Lipá, and King John of Luxembourg is forced to call his most loyal advisers and supporters, the archbishops and imperial electors Peter of Aspelt and Balduin of Luxembourg, to Bohemia again. They do indeed arrive at the head of the heavies, but if John thought they would help him break the opposing side once and for all, he must have been disappointed. Even given the situation in the empire, with two Roman kings standing against each other, each trying to gain power on his side, it was impossible to risk threatening Luxemburg's power in case of failure. It is clear that the Czech Republic is not facing peaceful times.
