The Stone Roses: The Stone Roses CLR

LP Record The Stone Roses is the debut studio album by the English rock band The Stone Roses. It was recorded mostly at Battery Studios in London with producer John Leckie between June 1988 and February 1989, and released in May of that year on Silvertone Records. The Stone Roses was not an immediate success, but it grew in popularity thanks to the band's prominent live performances, which also helped establish them in the Madchester and burgeoning cultural scene. The album's critical standing also improved significantly in later years, with many critics rating it highly in polls for the greatest albums. It was ranked number 11 in the third edition of Colin Larkin's All Time Top 1000 Albums (2000).
