The Story of Thyme

Audiobook A Thyme Story, written by Miriam Blahová, narrated by Anita Krausová and Marie Štípková. WHAT MUST WE SACRIFICE TO DEFEND OUR LOVE? When Anna's marriage begins to crumble, she takes her three-year-old son to her mother's house. While exploring the old family cottage, she finds a small bag of thyme. It transports her to the events of the first half of the twentieth century, to the tense relations between Czechs and Poles, and to a great love that faced many obstacles. As Anna uncovers her own family's fate and the history of the Jablunkov region, the story of her great-grandmother Věra unfolds, telling of the local conditions and progressive ideas that her neighbours could not understand in those difficult times.
