The Third Daughter

Penteria was once a mighty empire that fell with its last great king. On its ruins, people built new cities and kingdoms.
In one of them lives Prince Marco, who does not want to become king, though he was destined to be one.
His younger brother longs to be a hero, but has not yet had the chance.
In a neighbouring country, the warrior Alessandra would like to rule. But she does not even want to hear about having a king by her side.
Her older sister is promised to the temple and is determined to do whatever it takes to escape the fate of a priestess.
And the middle sister, Bianka, can do more than just adorn the royal court. But no one sees it.
None of them has any idea that an ancient enemy is about to turn their petty worries to dust and steal the most precious thing they have – their home.

The Ruby Mines and the Whispering Forest hide secrets that can thwart the enemy's malevolent plans. Yet saving Penteria will require sacrifices.

An adventurous fantasy with a drop of romance about how darkness hides in each of us, and you never know when it will break through to the surface.
