The time of the Madonnas

Lieutenant Jiří Šubrt and his colleague are investigating why a not particularly valuable painting of the Madonna by a naive folk artist from the 19th century was stolen from a commercial gallery. The trivial theft turns into a mysterious case that leads the two detectives among artists, art historians, and also into a women's circle that dabbles in esoteric disciplines. It's therefore obvious that Jiří will once again involve his sister Ema in the investigation. However, both police officers soon discover that underestimating the female soul and solidarity doesn't pay off. The ladies' society manages to thoroughly confuse the gentlemen police officers and also ruffle their egos.
