The Witcher - Crossroads of the Ravens
The Birth of the White Wolf
Enchanters aren't born. Enchanters are created. This is the story of how legends are made - and what the price is for its creation. Before he became the White Wolf and the Butcher of Blaviken, Geralt of Rivia was merely a fresh graduate of Kaer Morhen, entering a world that neither understood nor welcomed his kind. And when a naive act of heroism goes horribly wrong, only Preston Holt, a seasoned warlock with a buried past and plans of his own, saves Geralt from the noose. Under Holt's guidance, Geralt begins to learn what it truly means to walk the path - to protect a world that fears him and to survive in it. But as the line between good and evil begins to blur, Geralt must decide whether to become the monster everyone sees in him or someone else entirely. The story continues. The story never ends.
