The Witcher II Sword of Destiny

The second short story book, Sword of Destiny, is a fantastical tale of the wizard Geralt of Rivia as he battles demons, monsters and prejudice. The caster is only interested in the rewards for the heads of monsters, so that he has something to eat and somewhere to sleep. Nevertheless, his feet lead him to the witch Yennefer, and the warlock almost always pays the price, discovering that nothing is black or white. And a fate he refuses to believe in is lurking from everywhere. The dark forest of dryads unexpectedly connects him to his destiny, and no matter how hard Geralt tries, he cannot escape it.
