The World Belongs to Us - DVD

The Czech satirical fun play from 1937 with Voskovec and Werich tries to show the danger of spreading fascism and its criminal demagoguery with wit and humour. The bankrupt owner of the panopticon Lionel takes advantage of the chaotic conditions during the economic crisis and, with the financial support of a large industrial and commercial concern, prepares a coup and the establishment of a dictatorial regime.
