Therapy for children with autism

Children with autism live isolated in their world, experience anxiety, fear of failure, which leads to a deepening of their social isolation and emotional suffering. Therapies and leisure activities under the guidance of experts help to gain a sense of self-confidence and self-respect in children with autism.

Don' t be alone

No child with autism wants to be alone, they want to have friends, but they don' t know how to do it. What is completely self-evident for healthy children, children with autism have to learn hard. The organization organizes several therapeutic activities for children under the guidance of experienced psychologists, psychotherapists and special educators. Each treatment group has a maximum of 6 children to maintain an individual approach. The children in the group establish and develop relationships, learn to communicate, play together and also rejoice together. Therapeutic activities, which are throughout the school year, are followed by leisure activities such as trips and summer camps during the holidays.

The experience of success heals

Regular attendance at therapeutic activities is absolutely essential and crucial for children with autism, because any practice of changing and consolidating habits is a long-term process for them. It is important to start the therapeutic process at the earliest possible age and continue it continuously into adulthood. This significantly increases their chances of employment and integration into society. The effort put into practicing these skills will later be applied in everyday life. In therapies, children get a safe place where they can experience success.

Birthday card of an autistic child

In ADAM, autistic children establish real friendships, as evidenced by the story of Filip. Filip was sad because it was his birthday and no one in his classmate wanted to wish him well. He cried. In the therapy group, he confided his suffering to other children. The children spontaneously came to wish him. Later, all the children confided that they misunderstood other children.
Filip expressed his birthday wishes, wishing the children would come to his house. For the first time in his 14 years, he had a birthday party with real friends.
