Do not read the sacred texts! Klára has no education, no job, and no possessions. However, she cherishes her memories of Mexico, where her father used to take her as a child. She buys a one-way ticket to Mexico, where things start to happen. Klára Konečná is a bit of a loser in life. She worked as a bartender but was recently fired. She has no qualifications, no partner, no property, and no life plans. The only things that truly make Klára happy, besides rock concerts and parties, are her memories of Mexico, where her father often took her for holidays in her childhood. One day, Klára sells all her modest belongings and buys a one-way ticket to Mexico. And that's where things start to happen! In Mexico, the legacy of the ancient Mayans is still very much alive, the sky touches the earth, gods incarnate into people, and anyone who carelessly reads the sacred texts may end up facing forces far darker than they could ever imagine. However, Klára is not alone in her troubles, and with the help of new friends, she changes just as the story does – from a mysterious family drama into an action-packed adventure full of zombies, ghosts, and demons of the native people, all seasoned with jet-black humour.
