Those who suspect death

Eleven years ago, Bette and Crystal's mother died. Every year, the sisters commemorate the day by visiting her grave. While Bette waits in the deserted cemetery, watched over by mighty oak trees during her quiet reflection, Crystal, who would never otherwise miss this family ritual, is nowhere to be seen. Although it’s too early to panic, an unsettled Bette begins her own search to find her sister.
But minutes of waiting soon turn into hours, and hours into days.
Bette uncovers disturbing facts about what has been happening in her sister's life, and her suspicion towards Crystal's boyfriend, the handsome literature professor Weston Meeks, grows. Why does Meeks avoid questions about his past? What is he hiding from everyone?
Enter a story of people who are missing, murdered, and those who have taken their secrets to the grave.
