Thrift Store Girl

I'm not just some girl who sells clothes in a second-hand shop. I'm a girl whose own mum abandoned her at the maternity hospital. I've decided to tell my story about what it's like to be an adopted child, a teenager without biological parents, and an adult who has to come to terms with it all. I write about the search for my own identity and roots. I uncover the precarious situations that adopted people face. I may be a second-hand girl, but I am also an original and the architect of my own life.
