Through the Woods is a horror adventure game for PC in which you take on the role of a mother searching for her lost son. The story takes you into a dark forest, with an atmosphere that draws inspiration from Norse mythology and art. The game combines elements of the action and racing genres with narrative storytelling. To progress through the game, you will have to creatively use light and darkness. This title is delivered as an electronic licence with a key for activation on the Steam platform.

Story and Atmosphere of Through the Woods

The title Through the Woods originated as a school project by Norwegian students. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign and subsequent support from a publisher, the game made its way to players. The creators' goal was to capture the feelings children experience when walking alone through a forest, including their fears and perception of mystery. The story is told in a sensitive way, revealing dark events from the past and present. The atmosphere is enhanced by an environment inspired by Norwegian art and nature.
