Klára Mandausová is a journalist, literary editor and writer. Against the Fur is her tenth book. She also published the novel Odměna za neveru, the collections of feuilletons My dokučené and Holky s voctem, contributed to the book Dobro a zlo 21. stolí, in which she conducted an interview with theologian Marek Vácha, and provided texts for the monograph of botanical painter Pavlína Kourková Duše květů. As a child, she was most often found in the library. Until she was twenty-two, she was convinced she would become a teacher, probably so she could at least write on the blackboard, but there was no place for her in any school. After studying at the University of Economics, she therefore headed to MF Dnes. While writing about economics, her daughter Kristina was born. She later traded her job at the newspaper for the lifestyle magazine Marianne and Forbes magazine. Since 2022, he has been working at the Mladá fronta publishing house. Besides my family, funny men and cheerful friends, loves forests, mountains, galleries, cafes by the river, historical parts of cities and animals, especially the golden retriever Arnošt and a group of cats, who she and her daughter gradually adopted from shelters. She likes to say that kindness goes the furthest and the world stands on love.

Radkin Honzák headed the Department of Medical Psychology, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University for ten years and still works at IKEM in the outpatient clinic and transplant programme.
