Thumb and quiet water

A fisherman is found dead by the village pond. He is identified as Emil Rybka, a reserved recluse. He had been on disability pension for years and lived an inconspicuous life. It soon becomes clear that he died a violent death, and a murder investigation is launched. A significant amount of cash is found in the deceased's house, and his bank account has a surprisingly high balance. It appears the deceased led a completely different life than his neighbours had assumed.
