Traband: Vlnobeat

Traband' s new album is called Vlnobeat and contains 14 songs. Traband recorded it in its classic line-up (tuba-trumpet-guitar-drums), enriched with five-string banjo player Radim Huml. Although the banjo evokes more bluegrass and country, the Traband instrumented the rock and dance beats, sometimes dating back to the psychedelia of the 1960s. It was recorded in the Drums studio of Michal Dittrich, whose musical past (Hypnotix, Babalet, Abraxas) also influenced the band. Compared to previous albums, the storytelling has decreased, don' t expect epic songs too much. Get ready to be carried away by waves of emotion, joy and sadness, euphoria and disappointment - yet always with the determination to “not take this joy“, as the refrain of one of the songs sounds. Vlnobeat is based on the 20th anniversary of Traband' s existence. The CD is packed in a digipack with a poster.
